He was in top form and accompanied by two other Sangita Kalanidhis – RK Shriramkumar on the violin and Thiruvarur Bhaktavalsalam on the mridangam. In the background of the ongoing Gen-Z protests, I expected him to sermonize but thankfully that didn’t happen. He focussed on the music and that, as usual was worth the 2 and a half hours spent.
